Boil Water Advisory Notice

October 16, covers residents south of Hallett Street, houses from 175 to 225 on E. South Street, Greenwood Street, and 93 through 145 on Griswold Street. This will be in effect until further notice but will continue until at least 5:30 p.m. on 10/18/2018.

An announcement on WCSR will be broadcast notifying of the lifted boil water requirement

Added:

On 10/15/2018 repairs to the water lines on Union and Mead Streets were made as part of the water and sewer replacement project.  Water pressure was reduced to less than 20 psi, therefore a boil water notice is in effect.  This notice is for 73-85 Union St and 31-43 Mead St.

The boil water notice will be in effect until further notice, but could be as little as 48 hours after a water sample is taken.  Flushing a hose bib outside till clear will aid in the clearing of your household lines.
