Boil Water Notice for Rippon Ave 1/11/19 - LIFTED

On 1/11/2019 the water line supplying your water will be shut off to allow a cutting and capping of the current old water line on Rippon Avenue.  Addresses affected are 53 through 99 Rippon Avenue.

The main line will need to be drained to allow the work to be done. Water should be off for about an hour.  Therefore when the water supply returns you will need to boil any water used for consumption or cooking.  It is safe to wash clothes and dishes and to bathe.

The boil water notice will be in effect until further notice, but could be as little as 48 hours after restoration of service.  Flushing a hose bib outside till clear will aid in the clearing of your household lines.

 An announcement on WCSR will be broadcast notifying of the lifted boil water requirement.
