Canceled: Boil Water Advisory Notice: Hillsdale St/Williams Ct.

Boil Water Advisory has been Canceled by the BPU. 

On 12/19/2018 the water line supplying your water will be shut off to allow installation of new valves. Addresses affected are Hillsdale Street from 285 through 389 and all of Williams Court. The main line will need to be drained to allow the installation to be done. Water should be off for a few hours. Therefore when the water supply returns you will need to boil any water used for consumption or cooking. It is safe to wash clothes and dishes and to bathe. 
The boil water notice will be in effect until further notice, but could be as little as 48 hours after restoration of service. Flushing a hose bib outside till clear will aid in the clearing of your household lines. 
An announcement on WCSR will be broadcast notifying of the lifted boil water requirement.
