LIFTED: Boil Water Notice for Lumbard, Orchard Ridge Parkway, River, Arbor Court, Hillcrest, Cresent Court, State and Wolcott Streets

The services affected by the boil water resulting from the 2/18/2019 repair on Orchard Ridge Pkwy are CLEARED for use.  On 2/20/2019, at 9:20 AM, the second coliform sample came out clear.  The water is safe to consume. If you have any questions, please call the BPU Office, 517-437-3387.

 

On 2/18/2019, as a water line repair was made on Orchard Ridge Parkway, water pressure in the main was reduced to the point that a boil water notice is required.

Streets affected are 101-109 Lumbard, 114-122 Orchard Ridge Parkway, 294-320 River, 126-132 Arbor court, 120-146 Hillcrest, 2 and 4 Crescent Court, 179 State Street, and 306-405 Wolcott.

Therefore, a boil water notice will be in effect until two consecutive 24 hour tests come back clear.  The first samples will be taken 2/19/2019, early morning.  Water for consumption or cooking should be boiled for at least 15 minutes.  Bathing and washing clothes should not cause any problems.
