MODERN WASTE SYSTEMS MUNICIPAL TRASH AND RECYCLABLES COLLECTION

All residents who require residential trash & recycling services should contact Modern Waste Systems at 1(888) 788-9097 or email at mwstrash@yahoo.com. Residents will pay $10.50 per month for weekly trash collection and $3.50 per month for bi-weekly 
recycling services for a total of $14.00 per month for the first three years. The cost will increase to $14.42 in the fourth year and $14.85 in the fifth year of the contract. Each service will utilize a 96 gallon cart. The transfer station located at 425 West Carleton Road, Hillsdale phone number (517) 797-6080 and same hours of operation of  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (4 p.m. for big loads) and Saturday, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Noon for big loads).  The transfer station will continue to offer trash and recycling services.
