Hillsdale’s Fourth of July Celebration - Monday, July 3rd
No summer is complete without a proper Fourth of July celebration! This year, Hillsdale is ready to celebrate Independence Day with parades, music, fireworks and more – all happening in downtown Hillsdale.
An annual tradition, Hillsdale’s Fourth of July Parade will be can’t-miss viewing. The parade is organized by the City of Hillsdale and is sponsored by the Hillsdale Rotary Club.
The parade will begin at 6 p.m. July 3, with the route starting on McCollum Street just east of the Midtown Alley, then turning south on N. Howell Street and finally ending at Barry Street. Staging for all of the participants will begin at 5 p.m. at the Midtown Parking Lot.
People, groups, and organizations who are interested in participating in the parade must register using the form attached to this page. Completed registration forms can be emailed to sfry@cityofhillsdale.org or dropped off at City Hall – 97 N. Broad Street, Hillsdale, Michigan.
Festivities at the Fairgrounds
Following the parade, viewers are encouraged to visit the Hillsdale County Fairgrounds, where there will be food and drink, music, kids’ entertainment, and more. Gates open at 5 p.m. and admission is FREE.
Fireworks
The fireworks display will begin at dusk on July 3rd.
