HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Hillsdale Board of Public Utilities will begin its fall hydrant flushing program on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024.
Crews will flush hydrants daily from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the next day, until the flushing program has been completed. Flushing the entire system is expected to take about a week.
What does “hydrant flushing” mean?
The City Clerk's Office reminds all city residents 18 and older to register to vote.
(The deadline to register to vote in any manner other than with the city clerk's office is 15 days before the election.)

The City of Hillsdale Board of Public Utility (BPU) is requesting pricing for supply of new
equipment, new materials and the labor to install a new 250kw Kohler Diesel Generator
to serve two of the Water Wells within the City of Hillsdale.
