Owen Memorial Park

Owen Memorial Park is the second park of the Baw Beese Park system along Waterworks Drive.  Owen Memorial offers a beautiful view of Baw Beese Lake.  Two pavilions are available for rent through Hillsdale Recreation.  Amenities include power and water at both.  Lake access for boating and fishing, easy access to the Baw Beese Trail, disc golf, and play areas will make your visit enjoyable for all. 

Owen Memorial Park is also host to several fundraisers and events. Indiana Outboard Racing Association hold a weekend of racing each year, free to the public. Racers come from across the country to participate in national outboard racing competition. This family of boat racers welcomes everyone to stop by and enjoy this sport.  Feel free to speak with participants and view the boats! 

Rental and Reservation Information:

All day pavilion rental is $100/day. Includes power and water access. A $25 refundable deposit is required for use of the water. A key will be assigned to renter for the water lock. The deposit will be refunded upon the return of the key.
