MDEQ 2018 Clean Diesel Grant Dump/Plow Truck Replacement

City of Hillsdale Department of Public Services recently added three new 5-6 yard dump/plow trucks to its fleet. 

The City was awarded a 2018 State Clean Diesel Grant Award from Michigan Department of Environment Quality (MEDQ) in the amount of $108,750. The new dump/plow trucks will be used heavily throughout the entire year.  They are critical to winter maintenance, leaf collection, and material hauling.  The new trucks will emit less diesel emissions, therefore, helping the City of Hillsdale reduce air emissions.
