Request for Bids: Roof Replacements

CITY OF HILLSDALE, MICHIGAN - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The City of Hillsdale is requesting proposals for the following project(s):
City of Hillsdale – Roof Replacements
All work shall be in accordance with the project drawings, project specifications and any applicable
sections of the 2020 MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction.

RFP due date/ Public Opening:
Sealed proposals are due by 2:00 pm (local time) on Sept. 6, 2023 at the following location:
Hillsdale City Hall
Office of the City Clerk
97 N. Broad Street
Hillsdale, MI 49242

Scope of Work:
Provide new EPDM fully adhered roofing at the Board of Public Utility (BPU) Warehouse Building,
located at 45 Monroe Street, and the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), located at 101 W.
Galloway Avenue. All work shall be in accordance with the attached specifications, standard
industry standards and manufacturer’s requirements for material installations.

Pre-Bid Site Visits:
There will be no pre-scheduled site inspections, should you wish to visit the project sites please
contact the following city staff to schedule a site visit, should you wish to access the existing roofs
you will need to provide your own ladder or other access method:

Proposed Project Schedule:
BPU Presentation and Recommendation: September 12, 2023
City Council Award of Contract: September 18, 2023
Project Completion: June 14, 2024
