Renewable Energy Plan Annual Report for Calendar Year 2020

The Michigan South Central Power Agency is located in Coldwater, Michigan, and consists of five municipalities (the Village of Clinton, the City of Coldwater, the City of Hillsdale, the City of Marshall, and the Village of Union City). The Agency is committed to a renewable energy plan and has designed such to meet the renewable energy requirements of its members through a combination of generation, including current and future projects, along with acquiring Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) in the open market. The purpose of this annual report is to provide information regarding activities that occurred within calendar year 2020, not simply regarding energy credits with the vintage of 2020.

Section 51(1) of 2008 PA 295, as amended by 2016 PA 342, requires the filing of this document with the Michigan Public Service Commission.
