Notice of Planned Outage for Electrical System Maintenance

HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Hillsdale Board of Public Utilities has scheduled maintenance work on Hillsdale’s electrical system for the morning of Tuesday, Aug. 9, weather permitting. The work will begin at 8 a.m. and take approximately four (4) hours to complete.

Customers in the affected area will experience a service interruption during this time as crews perform essential improvement/maintenance work to the electrical system to help avoid unplanned outages in the future.

  • 113, 117, 118, 121, & 123 Lumbard Street
  • 203, 205, 211, & 217 N. Wolcott Street
  • 138, 142 Marion Street
  • 176 Fairfield Street

The public is reminded to never touch a downed power line or a tree in contact with a downed power line. Motorists are urged to slow down and move over or change lanes, when possible, if approaching utility crews working on roadways.
