POWER OUTAGE UPDATE: 5:10PM Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023

Our crews continue to make progress in restoring power to our customers. Earlier this afternoon we were able to bring one of our two main transmission loops back online, which has allowed us to start re-energizing more of our system.

There is still much work to do, but we can share that as of this time power has been restored to approximately 40% of our more than 6,000 electric customers and we expect that number will keep increasing throughout the evening.

The following communities have sent line crews to assist us:

- Bryan Municipal Utilities

- Grand Haven Board of Light & Power

- Lowell Light and Power

- Zeeland Board of Public Works

- Napoleon

These crews will be staying in Hillsdale overnight to continue to assist us tomorrow. We thank these public power utilities for answering our #MutualAid call.
